Scouts Carnival Disco

Carnival time at the Qrendi Scout Group is disco time. Off go the scout uniforms and on go the most fancy dresses imaginable. Although the Qrendi Scout Group does not have the premises and resources to organize carnival discotheques, this does not stop the group from teaming up with other Scout groups and having fun together.

Accepting to kind invitation of the St Julian’s Scout Group, the Qrendi lads and lasses donned on the most imaginative costumes and took the task of having fun and making friends with the scouting colleagues from another village.

Dr. Gawdenz (Emilio) Bilocca soon fell prey to a “St. Julian Beauty”, but could not appreciate the situation as he had forgotten his misted glasses. Never the less he had not forgotten the small briefcase with all his worldly procession. But even those that “Hated” disco’s and were always shy and reserved, found the time and courage to shred their skins and enjoyed themselves in a carnival sing and dance way.

Even the “Holy Father (Clinton) found the time to give the event “His Holy Blessing” and showed all that he too could Boogie. An inspiration to his millions of followers.

A manifestation of light and sound competing with the popular discotheques of the Paceville area was professionally organized by the St Julian’s Scout Group, where making new friends was most important.
