Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty are pretty much the perfect example of couple goals and their dinner date at Nobu to celebrate their wedding anniversary is only picture proof of that.

Cat and Irish comedian and presenter Patrick have been married for eight years now, after tying the knot in 2012, and as their anniversary came round, they decided to mark the moment with a slap up meal in the city.

Their venue of choice was Nobu in Mayfair and Cat, 43, was dressed to impress for their lavish date night, rocking a cute shirt dress and snake-print heels to boots.

Patrick, 49, opted for a light blue shirt and dark jeans and was ever the gentleman, as he was seen holding Cat’s hand, as they made their way outside to catch a ride home.

Both stars masked up to adhere to coronavirus guidelines while dining out during the pandemic, with Cat and Patrick donning matching face coverings on their exit.

The couple have moved back to the UK, after previously jumping ship to the US and relocating to Los Angeles, as Cat is the host of TV series So You Think You Can Dance?, which is heading into its 17th season.

Cat recently revealed that fear had a part to play in the couple’s decision to move back to the UK, given the commonality of shooting incidents across the US.

She and Patrick are parents to two sons, Milo, four, and James, two, and Cat explained the pair began to consider their options when it came to moving while looking at schools for their eldest boy.

Cat, who had lived in LA for 14 years, told the Daily Mail’s You magazine: ‘Fear was part of this. There was a moment when I was with a friend looking at potential schools for Milo and we had to ask the question nobody wants to, “What do you do if there is a live shooter on the premises?”

‘They tell you exactly what would happen, whether the kids would go to a safe room or hide under the desks… the danger suddenly becomes a reality.’

Cat also recalled one terrifying incident that saw husband Patrick and son Milo caught up in a mall shooting.

Patrick had picked up Milo from nursery and they had gone to Shake Shack at Century City Mall in Los Angeles. They were forced to hide in the kitchen after being told a gunman was in the shopping centre and Patrick had called Cat asking them to pick them up, after being ushered through the fire exit.

‘It was terrifying,’ Cat said, adding that Patrick had been left ‘shaken’ by the incident.

Their move back homes comes as Cat has confirmed she’ll be teaming up with Ant and Dec once more for an SM:TV Live reunion show.

The trio fronted the hit Saturday morning series between 1998 and 2001 and it ran for more than two years with stars including Tess Daly and Stephen Mulhern taking over.

The reunion is more of a documentary show than a reboot and is set to hit screens at the end of year, with Cat teasing that things got very emotional when she, Ant and Dec reunited on set.

Speaking to Chris Moyles during his Radio X show, Cat said: ‘We have filmed a documentary, it’s going to be aired at the end of the year. We went back to the studio where we did it. They rebuilt the set, we all cried.

‘I walked in and [Ant and Dec] were doing their interview and Dec was crying and I was like, “ok you’re crying,”… we all have a bit of a cry. We take the mickey out of each other, it’s very, very, very cute.’
