As we approach the first centenary of Scouting both as a World Wide Movement and that of an Association in Malta, it is clearly evident that the art of communications is playing an important part in the further development of Scouting. This website by the Qrendi Scout Group is an excellent and living example of such evolving communications.

The Qrendi Scout Group is a young and modest Scout Group. It is, however, full of energy and represents a hive of activity. Based in a relatively small village the Group promotes the principles of Scouting among its members and other local community members, thus contributing to the development of the younger generation.

Scouting is a way of life. It aims to build up the character of youth and gives them those life skills that are so necessary in their development as strong and useful citizens. Scouting follows a programme of development that complements the more formal educational programme pursued by our youth in state and private schools.

My sincere congratulations go to the Qrendi Scout Group, its leaders and members for this initiative and for providing an informative and interesting website. Well done to the Webmaster who I am sure took pride in building up this website. May this website be a source of inspiration to all those who visit it and may it be a source for furthering the ideals of Scouting.

May I wish all the best to the Qrendi Scout Group. Keep it up.
