Ta’ l-Ars farmhouse windows

Interesting at this farmhouse is a series of decorative geometrical roundels (five), that together with a decorative pillar like decorations on one of its windows add character to this building. These symbols, carved into particular stone blocks on most of the walls are believed to be from the Seracenic era, making the farmhouse of Arabic origins.

Entrance to the farmhouse building, sited on private grounds, is accessible from the back or inner side of the building as the main door leading to the road has over the years been blocked up. This entrance leads to two small rooms and a small manger that may at one time housed the farm animals.
