From ELLE

On July 29, 1981, the world met one of the most iconic wedding dresses of all time: the dress that Lady Diana Spencer wore to marry Prince Charles at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London. That dress, designed by David and Elizabeth Emanuel, became legendary for several reasons, one of which being its seemingly endless, dramatic train (it was 25 feet long).

This sartorial feat will make another appearance in The Crown season 4, and fans of the show finally get a first look at the recreation. Netflix released an image of the gown being worn by actress Emma Corrin, and every last detail, down to the ruffles, appears to be there:

Former LSU Quarterback Joe Burrow Notches First NFL Win in Record Setting Fashion

Joe Burrow is no longer winless in his NFL career. On Sunday the LSU rookie picked up the first win of his young career, setting a little NFL history in the process. Burrow passed for 300 yards and a touchdown in a 33-25 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Burrow became the first rookie in NFL history to have three consecutive games of 300+ passing yards. But in typical Burrow fashion, that record doesn’t faze him much.

“We got the win, that’s all I care about,” Burrow said. “It feels good to win, I’m gonna do whatever it takes to win football games. I’ll throw it zero or 100 times, I’ll throw for seven or 500 it doesn’t matter to me.”

That mindset is certainly nothing new to the LSU fans who have followed Burrow for the last two years. Of course LSU fans also remember the struggle that first year

Delta Goodrem reflects on biggest beauty blunder as a teenager

Delta Goodrem admits she cringes over photos of herself from the early 2000s because of one regrettable beauty trend

Delta Goodrem grew up in the spotlight, having signed her first record deal with Sony at the age of 15, before joining the cast of Neighbours two years later.

But the Born to Try singer, 35, finds herself cringing these days when she looks back on her rise to fame – and it’s all because of one rather outdated beauty trend.

Delta revealed on Channel Seven’s Sunrise on Monday that she would over-pluck her eyebrows in her teens and early twenties because pencil-thin brows were fashionable at the time.

Women’s Super League: West Ham United 0-1 Reading: Lauren Bruton scores winner for visitors

Reading registered their second Women’s Super League win of the season as a goal by Lauren Bruton proved enough to beat West Ham at Dagenham.

Burton forced the ball home from Natasha Harding’s cross after Reading had lost Fara Williams to injury.

West Ham went close to an equaliser after the break when Adriana Leon’s effort was tipped onto the post.

Keeper Grace Moloney excelled again by saving Kenza Dali’s penalty after she was adjudged to have fouled Leon.

The home side brought in Kate Longhurst and Emily van Egmond after a 9-1 home defeat by Arsenal in their most recent game on 12 September.

And they made a bright start with Maz Pacheco, Leon and Longhurst all trying their luck in the early exchanges.

But Danielle Carter went close in reply and, after Williams went off to be replaced by Brooke Chaplen, they took the lead when Bruton scored

Millennial brothers’ hair and beauty store surges through COVID-19

“COVID-19 has really shifted the way consumers shop and view online shopping. Now they’ve got a taste for it, our goal was to really impress new customers and cement them as online shoppers,” he said.

“We’ve hit $3 million [in monthly sales] a year or two ahead of schedule. So it’s accelerated our growth in the space.”

Prior to starting Oz Hair & Beauty, Mr Nappa worked casually as a labourer and restaurant waiter to support himself while in university, but in 2012 when his labourer boss went on holidays, he realised he could not make enough income to support himself from just his restaurant job.

This sparked his decision to leverage his parents’ connections running hair salons and start an eBay store selling hair and beauty products.

For a few years Mr Nappa ran this business out of his father’s warehouse, taking over the entire space by its third

Christine Chapman was helped by her brother-in-law Stephen Harris

With little more income than the state pension, Christine Chapman is careful with her money.

The 70-year-old keeps paperwork meticulously in a filing cabinet and knows what is coming in and going out.

Her bills were cut by hundreds of pounds a year, simply by switching insurance, phone and mobile suppliers.

It all sounds like an advert for competition and the benefits of shopping around.

But Mrs Chapman was lucky.

Misplaced trust?

The widow, from County Durham, does not have a computer and does not know how to operate one. Her smartphone is only used for calls and messages to family and friends. She had no way of shopping around for better deals.

What she does have is a caring brother-in-law who taught IT and, after a conversation at a family gathering, realised Mrs Chapman

Published

Outgoing Chairman of the Board for the Laredo Chamber of Commerce Parker Neel will officially hand over the reins of the organization to his successor, Cliffe Killam, in a unique virtual ceremony to be held on Wednesday, Oct. 28.

Traditionally held in a luncheon-type setting, this year’s “End-of-the-Year” program and awards ceremony is taking a new twist. A planning committee has been working diligently over the last month to make sure that a program that is entertaining, while maintaining the seriousness of the event, is delivered.

“The pandemic has disrupted almost every aspect of our daily lives,” Neel said. “But it’s not about to take away from the recognition so many of our members deserve for their dedication and hard work during the year.”

A Legacy of Style: Chelsea Chau-Kuok On Her Mother-Daughter Fashion Bond

Shopping adventures

The mother-daughter duo are frequently seen together at exclusive events, including runway shows and cocktail parties. But Chau-Kuok’s most memorable fashion moments with her mother are their shopping trips to destinations like Tokyo, New York and Marrakech, the latter being where Chau-Kuok celebrated her marriage to Kuok. The couple hosted a lavish event for 100 guests in May 2017 where ChauKuok wore no less than six fabulous gowns.

Shopping for her wedding looks was an event in itself for her and her mother, who travelled around the world to the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand and, finally, to couturier Ashi Studio in Beirut, Lebanon, where she found an embroidered coat and gown that she wore for both her Hong Kong wedding, a lavish ceremony for 700 guests at Sevva, and her Marrakech nuptials.

“As soon as I saw the dress, I knew,” says Chau-Kuok. “I’m a very
