NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa. (AP) Brittany Lincicome brought 16-month-old daughter Emery to a recent practice round at Aronimink Golf Club and let her run around the course and plop down on mom’s pink golf bag.

Back home with dad, the TV was on for the family to watch Brittany do what she does best, as one of the tour’s bigger hitters regularly found the greens she needed to emerge as a contender for another major victory.

How Food Series ‘Family Style’ Completed a Second Season Mid-Pandemic

“Family Style” was midway through filming its second season when the coronavirus pandemic shut down both its featured subject — restaurants — and production. With several of the planned eight episodes of the Asian-centered food show half done and some not even filmed, producers from the Stage 13 and YOMYOMF joint production had to pivot amidst a time of uncertainty. Executive producer Philip Chung remembers exactly when they made the decision to shut production down in early March. “I remember everyone on the crew all of a sudden getting the alert that Tom Hanks got coronavirus,” he told TheWrap. “That was the moment when it really home for a lot of people on the crew. We knew COVID was an issue; the NBA the night before announced they were canceling their season.” “Obviously, we’re shooting an Asian food show and that was already an issue with some of the racism

Why you should start your holiday shopping earlier

As your Smart Shopper, it’s my goal to help you save money.

I know — it’s not even Halloween yet, but we need to talk about holiday shopping. It’s vital to plan now if you’re buying gifts so you don’t run into inventory issues or shipping delays. Or shipping deadlines and surcharges.

Sarak Skirboll, the shopping and trends expert at RetailMeNot, a website known for its online coupons and codes, shared their recent survey findings.

Not only are more people planning to shop online this year, but what they’re shopping for is different.

“So, in the past, we’ve seen the rise of experiential gifts. Things like going to the spa, cooking classes, travel, and concert tickets. That’s not happening this year.” Sara said. “What we’re seeing this year are going to be the rise of tangible gifts. Think electronics, clothing, shoes and accessories.”

Themed gifts will also be popular, such

Bittersweet Gay Immigration Drama Finds Beauty in Real Life

Click here to read the full article.

They say truth is stranger than fiction, but more often than not it’s much sadder too. Where fiction likes to wrap things up in a tidy bow, real life is all about calculated compromise. In the case of Iván Garcia and Gerardo Zabaleta, whose touching love story is dramatized in the timely drama “I Carry You With Me,” the choice between a life together in the U.S. or with family in Mexico has no clear-cut answers. The narrative feature debut of Oscar-nominated documentarian Heidi Ewing (“Jesus Camp”),

“I Carry You With Me” operates on three separate timelines, often jumping between with little rhyme or reason. Ewing intercuts footage of the real Iván, now in early middle age and a successful chef in New York City, alongside the talented actor (Armando Espitia) dramatizing his life as a young man in Puebla, Mexico, with occasional

Harris showed Black women how to be ‘angry’ and handle a condescending white man

So I was wrong.

Up until the start of Wednesday’s vice presidential debate, I had been worried that Kamala Harris would fall victim to Mike Pence’s Midwestern nice schtick, honed during his time as governor of Indiana.

That if the California senator came after him like the hard-charging former prosecutor that she is, Pence would just shake his head and smile that smarmy smile, making Harris look like an angry Black woman and himself the picture of calm and civility.

But then it happened.

With just one exchange, Harris out-Midwestern-niced the Midwestern nice master, exposing Pence for the overconfident, condescending, weak and scared white man that he really is.

And even more importantly, she put a different kind of dent in the glass ceiling. Using

Salt Lake man charged with looting jewelry store, 7-Eleven during riot

SALT LAKE CITY — Criminal charges have been filed against a man accused of looting and vandalizing a downtown 7-Eleven store during a downtown Salt Lake riot on May 30.

The same man already faces numerous charges accusing him of assaulting a police officer during the riot, stealing an estimated $340,000 worth of jewelry from a downtown store during the riot, and robbing a woman at gunpoint in July, according to court documents.

Roger Nuankoo Dyujay, 21, of Salt Lake City, now faces additional charges of criminal mischief, a second-degree felony; burglary, a third-degree felony; and theft, a class B misdemeanor in the convenience store incident.

A protest on May 30 over the death of George Floyd started peacefully but turned violent and resulted in a police car being overturned and burned and several police officers injured by attacks from rioters. More than a dozen people have been charged in

Women May Be More Likely To Get Anxiety From Occasional Cannabis Use Than Men, Study Finds

Cannabis is a complicated drug when it comes to anxiety. While some report that cannabis makes them feel more relaxed, others find that it can cause heightened anxiety, paranoia, and restlessness. Research tells us that these differences can be related to a variety of factors, such as the dose or the type of cannabis used.

Now researchers are pointing to another factor that could be important in whether cannabis causes or relieves anxiety – biological sex. According to a new study from John Hopkins University, women may be more likely than men to get anxiety-related symptoms from occasional cannabis use.

The researchers on this study were looking to see if there were any notable differences between men and women when it came to the side effects of occasional cannabis use. They were also interested in exploring this in the context of non-smoked

2021 Ram TRX to get more than 100 optional Mopar accessories

mp021-011rm974bm8uevffg83ppek5d0c596j

The Ram TRX looks nuts even in stock form, but these Mopar accessories really push it over the edge.

Mopar

There’s no doubt that Ram’s forthcoming Hellcat-powered TRX is going to be an utterly insane truck. Not only does it produce more than 700 horsepower, but it’s going to cost a substantial pile of cash to park one in (or more likely in front of, because it’s big) your garage.

Now, it seems likely that those who actually buy these mountains of excess will be averse to looking like total dweebs and will, therefore, probably want to accessorize their trucks. Thankfully, Mopar decided to cater to these folks early on and announced a range of 100 TRX accessories on Thursday.

The accessories on offer range from big and expensive, like the bed-mounted

Mark Meadows is yet to comment on the reports

White House chief of staff Mark Meadows threw a large wedding for his daughter in May, amid a ban on gatherings of more than 10 people, US media report.

The wedding took place in Atlanta, Georgia, on 31 May and some 70 guests attended, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution first reported.

Photos of the event show a large number of people socialising in close proximity, with nobody wearing masks.

The president of the event manager said it had complied with guidelines.

Myrna Antar, of Novare Events, said the company had met Georgia Governor Brian Kemp’s order that allowed 10 people per 300 sq ft (28 sq m).

“And while we do not comment on client’s events, we can confirm that the entire 16,000 sq ft of the space was reserved for this small wedding – greatly exceeding the per person square
