From Cosmopolitan

There has been a LOT happening in the news cycle lately, so if you didn’t already know, consider this your reminder that Amazon Prime Day is coming up next week—on October 13 and 14 to be exact. And exactly like last year, it’ll be two full days (instead of just one) with slashed prices on tons of things, from home decor and fashion to sex toys, tech devices, and beauty buys.

More specifically, it’ll start at 3 a.m. if you *really* want to get a jump on the deals before anyone else even wakes up. Also this year, the e-tailer is starting things off with special discounts (like 40 percent off Amazon’s own fashion brands) exclusively for Prime members, too! (How nice, right?)

If you’re familiar with the now two-day shopping extravaganza, then you know that with lightning deals, there

RHOA ‘s Cynthia Bailey Details the COVID-19 Safety Measures Put in Place for Her Wedding

Cynthia Bailey/Instagram

Cynthia Bailey can’t wait to say “I do” to fiancé Mike Hill in front of her friends and family — her masked friends and family, that is.

Ahead of her Georgia wedding on Saturday, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star opens up to PEOPLE about the “strict” COVID-19 precautions she put in place in order to ensure the safety of their guests.

“Usually, my concern before the wedding would be more focused on a lot of the aesthetics of the wedding,” Bailey tells PEOPLE. “However, because we are getting married in a pandemic, the focus has turned to: Do we have the thermometers for the temperature checks? Do we have sanitizer stations?”

“We aren’t messing around,” she adds.

The couple is set to wed at the Governors Towne Club in Acworth, Georgia. The ceremony was originally set to take place outdoors to accommodate their 250-person guest list, but

In Leadup to Election, More Women, Young People Say They Won’t Vote: Poll

An increasing number of women and young people say they do not plan to vote as November’s election quickly approaches, according to a new poll.

The Hill/HarrisX poll released Friday found that 6 percent of voters aged 18 to 34 said they would not vote, compared to 4 percent in the same poll from one week earlier. The number of women who said they did not plan on voting was 5 percent, moving from 3 percent the previous week.

Although a large majority of younger voters taking part in the poll said they would vote in the election, they were still the least likely of all age groups to indicate they would participate on both weeks of polling. An even number of women and men, 3 percent, said they would not vote in last week’s poll.

This week’s poll was conducted online among 2,841 registered voters between October 3

NASCAR’s upcoming economic model spurs interest in new teams

Justin Marks tried three times to buy the NASCAR equivalent of a franchise license that guarantees a car a spot in each week’s race. Twice he was outbid, he said, and a third deal fell apart.

Without that charter, Marks had almost no chance to get his team on track in 2021. He ultimately had to lease one from another organization to become the second new NASCAR owner to announce a team in the last month.

As NASCAR plans for the 2022 cost-cutting introduction of the “NextGen” new car, the demand for charters has soared. At least three have been sold since August — ownership records of each charter are not updated by NASCAR until the start of a new year —

Lindsey Vonn Paused Planning Her Wedding To PK Subban During the Pandemic

Lindsey Vonn has had to push a pause button on her wedding plans with PK Subban.

The 35-year-old Olympic skier tells People that the couple, who got engaged in 2019, are really not in a rush to walk down the aisle.

“We’re kind of in a holding pattern right now,” she shared. “With COVID, it just feels like there’s no good option, you know? I don’t have a timeline or a plan, we’re just kind of going to wait and see.”

Lindsey continued, “Obviously, his family is in Canada, so I can’t physically get to Canada and they can’t get here. It’ll happen eventually, we just don’t know when.”

“Neither of us are really worried about when we’re going to get married,” she adds. “We know it’s gonna happen, so we’re not in a rush about it.”

Lindsey also mentioned that having because of the pandemic, her relationship with

An East Nashville home known as the “Fashion House” was the scene of a large party on Aug. 1-2, 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, that caught the attention of Nashville authorities.

Davidson County General Sessions Judge Dianne Turner issued a capias warrant Friday for Christopher “Shi” Eubank after he failed to appear in court for a hearing on three counts of violating emergency health orders.

Eubank, 40, was one of two men criminally charged after throwing an Aug. 1 rager on Fern Avenue. He has been free on bond since his Aug. 26 arrest and was due in court Friday for a settlement in the case at 8:30 a.m.

Democratic Senate candidate Cal Cunningham repeatedly dodged questions about if there are any other women he has had affairs with during a cringeworthy press conference on Friday.

It was Cunningham’s first public media availability since news broke of intimate texts between him and Arlene Guzman Todd, who is married to another man and has since said that their relationship included physical intimacy as recently as July.

A Facebook post from North Carolina attorney Erin Brinkman alleged that Todd is not the only woman Cunningham has had an affair with, prompting repeated questions from the press.

“Are there any other allegations of extramarital affairs that you think are going to surface, and do you think that you owe voters more of an explanation than you’ve offered so far?” one reporter asked.

“Look, we’ve heard from Sen. Tillis himself that this is what he wants
