Jill Zarin and daughter Ally Shapiro’s face mask line is getting a new look.
Masks By Jill & Ally’s Candy Collection, a range of colorful, playful mask necklaces priced at $18 each, launched on Tuesday.
“Masks are a scary thing,” Shapiro recently told Page Six Style, adding, “It’s not something fun and now it’s a part of everyday life, so why not make it fun?”
Shapiro also teamed up with Summer Strings founder Charlotte Alden to supply handmade mask chains in new fall colors, due to launch in the coming weeks.
Of their collaboration, Alden told us she’s “grateful” for the opportunity to work with Shapiro and is “really excited” for the second launch together. They dropped their first collab earlier this month.
As Page Six Style previously reported, Shapiro began hand-dyeing masks to help raise money for their COVID-19 initiative to feed healthcare workers called “Noshes for Nurses.”
With the help of Zarin’s platform, Shapiro has been able to supply thousands of masks to medical workers in need by donating one mask for each face covering purchased.
These days, celebs like Kris Jenner and TikTok star Charli D’Amelio have been seen rocking the trendy masks.
Already on Zarin’s website, the masks are also sold in several boutique stores and will soon be available on Amazon.
