Microsoft Edge adds an online shopping comparison tool

As part of a major update coming later this month, Microsoft Edge is getting two handy new features (via The Verge). The first is a price comparison tool that will allow you to add a product to a Collection and then click a single button to see how much that item costs at other online retailers. Initially, the tool will only work with stores in the US, but Microsoft said it plans to make it more proactive in the future and add options for coupons.

It’s worth noting you can add a price comparison tool to Edge through downloadable extensions from the Microsoft and Chrome Web stores. So you’re not getting new functionality per se, but it’s a nice bonus when these features get official support.

The other significant new feature making its way to Edge this month is a tool for taking a screenshot of

Jarrod Bowen adds gloss as West Ham end Leicester’s unbeaten start in style

David Moyes’ remote control seems to be working a treat for West Ham. With their manager again watching from his sofa after testing positive for the coronavirus, the east London side claimed another impressive victory thanks to goals by Michail Antonio, Pablo Fornals and Jared Bowen. Those were well-earned rewards for a commanding team performance.

After demolishing Wolves 4-0 last week in their manager’s first match away from the sidelines and firing five past Hull in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday, West Ham rendered Leicester impotent from the start here. Brendan Rodgers’ team had scored 12 goals in their previous three league matches, including five at Manchester City last Sunday, but could not muster a shot on target in this one.

Decatur takes over recycling, adds clothing pickup point

DECATUR — The covid-19 pandemic affected more than just restaurants and other small businesses.

The recycling industry took a big loss due to the pandemic, forcing companies to shut down pickup in many area towns. But Decatur worked out a deal that would continue the recycling program that many area residents and businesses used on almost a daily basis.

Mayor Bob Tharp received a correspondence dated Aug. 26 from Wendy Bland, director of the Benton County Solid Waste District, stating the recycling program in Decatur will be discontinued Sept. 4.

“We are saddened and deeply regret that the Solid Waste District no longer has funding available to provide the free recycling trailer service,” Bland wrote. “It was not caused by the District and is not something that we have control over. This was a sudden blow to our budget that was completely unexpected. We had very little notice ourselves in
