Patrick Nesbitt’s $55million, 20-acre European-style polo estate in Montecito is set for auction

  • Windsor Capital Group’s chief executive Patrick Nesbitt is selling his 20-acre Montecito, California, estate
  • The property features a 128ft infinity-edge pool with a surrounding sun deck, 11 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms
  • Its 10-acre ‘European-style’ polo estate has a custom equestrian sculpture and was in the 2009 Radar video

Hotelier and chief executive of the Windsor Capital Group Patrick Nesbitt’s 20-acre estate where Britney Spears filmed her 2009 Radar video is set to be auctioned.

The sprawling property once valued at $65million will be sold to the highest bidder with no reserve through Concierge Auctions on November 16 to 19.

Earlier this year Mr Nesbitt reduced the asking price for the Montecito, California, estate to $55million, having been trying to sell it since 2016.

The ocean-viewing property is described as ‘an elegant, European-style polo estate’, complete with a 10-acre regulation polo field, custom equestrian sculpture, 17-horse barn, clubhouse and terraces.

Vista Outdoor Named Successful Bidder in Bankruptcy Auction To Acquire Remington Ammunition and Accessories Assets

ANOKA, Minn., Sept. 28, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — Vista Outdoor Inc. (NYSE: VSTO), a global designer, manufacturer and marketer of products in the outdoor sports and recreation markets, today announced that it has been named a successful bidder in the auction process conducted in connection with Remington Outdoor Company, Inc.’s (“ROC’s”) Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases pending in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Alabama.  As a result, Vista Outdoor will acquire certain assets related to ROC’s ammunition and accessories businesses, including ROC’s ammunition manufacturing facility in Lonoke, Arkansas and related intellectual property, including the Remington brand and trademarks.  Vista Outdoor has agreed to pay a gross purchase price of $81.4 million for the assets to be acquired, subject to certain customary closing adjustments.  The transaction is subject to the approval of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Alabama at a hearing currently
