The family of Ashleigh Simrajh, 23, who died from cancer one month ago, have released her intimate wedding video to continue spreading her powerful message, and thank the local community for their support.

Last month, doctors told the terminally-ill young woman she had just days to live, but Ashleigh, who was diagnosed with melanoma, fought like a “superstar” marrying the love of her life, Jason Hale, in an emotional ceremony on the Gold Coast.

“Ashleigh pushed through until her wedding and lasted another 10 days after that which was an absolute bonus for us,” her distraught father Tony Simrajh told news.com.au.

A bride in Louisiana has her new husband and her faith to thank for the wedding that she feared Hurricane Delta would ruin.

ABC 7 NY reported that Taylor Choate and Ian Gaspard set their wedding date on Oct. 10 months ago. However, as the couple’s big day approached, it was announced that Hurricane Delta would hit Louisiana on their wedding date.

The bride was devastated, to say the least, but she revealed that it was through prayer and wise words from her husband-to-be that she was able to cope with the fact that her dream wedding wouldn’t happen.

“My Superman here came in and saved the day,” Choate explained.

“He told me that, at the end of the day, we just wanted to get married and it was important that we did it in the church. That was important to our parents and our faith. We were going to

Guests were welcomed to the unique event on Friday with a hamper containing tasty snacks – as well as safety instructions, anti-bacterial hand gel and bin liners for their rubbish.

During the four-hour Hindu wedding, they could order food from a dedicated website to be delivered by waiters, but were only allowed to leave their vehicles only to use toilet cabins.

Another 300 guests from all over the world also watched the live footage of the couple saying their vows at Braxted Park, a stunning country house in

Businesses creating dream wedding for bride with cancer

RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — Nicole Weiss and David Rhoades’ wedding plans took an abrupt turn on July 31 when Weiss was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

In the midst of mounting medical bills and Weiss’ radiation and chemotherapy, Black Hills businesses are teaming up to give the Rapid City couple a wedding celebration on Oct. 18.

Weiss is battling stage 4 glioma, a rare mutation of a cancerous tumor. Though it isn’t curable, doctors hope to slow its progression. Weiss is undergoing treatment at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. High school sweethearts Weiss, 28, and Rhoades, 29, had been planning to marry in spring 2021, the Rapid CIty Journal reported.

“When we found out about my diagnosis, I thought, ‘Why have we waited so long? Let’s just get married.’ We’ve been together 11 years,” Weiss said.
