Vikings Fall to Seahawks 27-26 in Dramatic Fashion: Three Takeaways

What a game. 

The Vikings blew a two-score lead at halftime and went down 21-13, rallied to take the lead, and still wound up falling 27-26 to the Seahawks on a game-winning touchdown pass from Russell Wilson to DK Metcalf. They battled, but the Vikings fell short in their first primetime game of the year and are now 1-4 on the season.

This game had everything: momentum shifts, big plays, head-scratching moments, huge coaching decisions, injuries, inclement weather, and much more. But in the end, it’s an all-too-familiar feeling for the Vikings and their fans, another entertaining game that doesn’t feel all that fun after a heartbreaking loss.

Key interception sparks late rally for Frisco Lebanon Trail, which bests Frisco Memorial in dramatic fashion

FRISCO – One more score could’ve put the game away for Frisco Memorial, but hanging around was enough for Frisco Lebanon Trail.

That and a game-changing interception by Lebanon Trail’s Chinonso Arinze in the fourth quarter, which led to a furious rally and a 34-33 win over Memorial at the Ford Center at The Star on Friday night.

Gregory Hatley scored the winning touchdown on a 2-yard run with 42 seconds left, and he also caught a 16-yard touchdown pass from Drew Martin with 8:25 remaining.

Memorial’s defense was stout for three quarters, recovering two fumbles and forcing a safety. Lebanon Trail was down by at least two possessions for most of the game, but its 13-point fourth quarter erased Memorial’s prior work.
