While the presidential race is certainly the most talked-about during the 2020 election cycle, what’s equally important are the races in the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives. As we’ve seen following the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who we elect up and down the ballot—in this case, specifically the U.S. Senate—matters. Time and time again, we are reminded that the only way to ensure we live in a democracy that works for all of us is to elect leaders that are truly interested in representing the people, and working towards a progressive future.
