Your Favorite Anti-Aging Moisturizer Now Comes With a Free Gift, and It’s Good

We don’t know about you, but when we hear “free gift with purchase,” our minds immediately think: Not another tote bag. Well, thankfully Olay is holding a Friends & Family Sale from October 13 to 14 that is decidedly not that.

Instead, the storied brand is offering two of their top facial scrubs for free when you purchase any one of their bestselling Regenerist moisturizers, only on olay.com. You know the ones: the Micro Sculpting Cream, Ultra Rich Moisturizer and Retinol24 MAX Night Face Moisturizer.

The fun part? Olay is letting you choose which face scrub you want. Exfoliation can help serums and moisturizers work more effectively so it makes sense that they’re being offered as a duo. Find the two deals below and take your pick.

Choose this option if your skin needs the sort of deep cleaning that you’ll see and feel. This scrub increases surface cell turnover

These 9 Best Amazon Prime Day Beauty Deals Are Too Good To Miss

It’s here: Amazon’s annual two-day blowout sale. This year, Prime Day begins at midnight PST on Tuesday, October 13th, and will run until midnight on Wednesday. Even though the sale is technically two days long, the best products across all categories tend to sell out fast — so it’s best to be prepared with your shopping list. The Prime Day beauty deals run the gamut from nourishing cleansers for soothing and clearing dry skin to high-tech microdermabrasion devices and ergonomic beard trimmers — and some of my favorites start at just $7.

If Amazon, the place where you stock up on sheet pans and bug spray, seems like an iffy place to buy beauty products, prepare to be surprised. In recent years the site has become a catch-all for not only classic drugstore beauty lines like Covergirl and L’Oreal, but also more obscure and affordable makeup lines as well.

Good news for Amazon: Prime Day just turned into a holiday shopping event | National News

Prime members skew higher income, which may make these shoppers less susceptible to job losses and a stimulus bill not being passed, analysts say. Prime shoppers may be spending less on travel and other leisure activities than they did before the pandemic. This means they’ll have more to spend on electronics, kitchenware and other items from Amazon.

“If anything, many people are flush with cash and it could drive higher sales this year,” said Brian Yarbrough, analyst at Edward Jones.

Plus, the pandemic has given a boost to ecommerce spending as more people shop online from home. Amazon is benefiting from the trend.

Telsey Advisory Group forecasts Prime Day sales of up to $11 billion for Amazon, a 40% increase from last year’s event, which was held in July. The spike in online shopping as consumers order from home and increased participation from small businesses is expected to help drive

Former GOOD DAY Leader Heejin Gets Married; TVXQ’s Yunho And Other Stars Attend Wedding

Former GOOD DAY leader Heejin has tied the knot!

On October 10, former GOOD DAY member Heejin got married in a beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony. TVXQ’s Yunho, Brave Girls’ Yuna, singer Park Soo Jin, and REDSQUARE’s Green—who was previously bandmates with Heejin in Good Day under the stage name Genie—were all in attendance at the wedding.

The following day, Heejin took to Instagram to share several photos from the wedding, writing, “I’ve decided to spend my entire lifetime together with someone who, from the very beginning up until now, has always thought of and cared for me more than I have myself. I’m so happy that I was able to spend such a special day in such a special place together and receive so many blessings. Thank you to everyone who came a long way to congratulate us! We’ll live happily while fighting and laughing a lot in the future.”

Tesla Model 3 Price Too High? Dirt-Cheap Used Electric Cars Can Be Good Deals

The used EV has arrived.

It was only nine years ago that the first won’t-break-the-bank electric cars arrived.

Those non-Tesla EVs — like the Nissan Leaf and Chevy Volt — weren’t priced at $80,000 like the Model S and the first- and second- generations of those cars have been hitting the used car market over the last several years.

And with a Long Range 2020 Tesla Model 3 starting at about $47,000, “dirt cheap” for an EV is anything under $20,000.

A couple of the better sites for used EVs are MYEV and CarGurus.

Most of the used EVs cited below are first- and second-generation electrics that were sold roughly between 2011 and 2017.

Note: all prices are based on a used vehicle

There Are Fewer Sales at the Mall. That’s Good for Gap, American Eagle, and Other Clothing Retailers.

Apparel retailers were hit hard in the early days of the Covid-19 crisis—but many have recovered from those lows to post year-to-date gains.

Deutsche Bank

believes that moves the companies made last month could further help the stocks.

Analyst Gabriella Carbone reiterated a Buy rating on

American Eagle Outfitters

(ticker: AEO) Friday, while raising her price target to $18 from $16. She kept Hold ratings on

Gap

(GPS) and

Urban Outfitters

(URBN), while raising her price targets to $39 from $33, and to $28 from $27, respectively. The moves come following “improving promotional activity” in September—that is, fewer discounts—which she notes could lead to higher margins.

Carbone believes that “each of these retailers has a unique assortment or provides a service that is resonating well with consumers,” as they have rolled out curbside pickup options.

5 Ways Issa Rae Keeps Her Skin And Hair Looking So Good

Issa Rae is a writer, producer, and star of the hit HBO series Insecure, a Covergirl, and recent co-owner of a natural line of hair products called Sienna Naturals. And she’s only 35…Yes, you could say that the multifaceted actress can pretty much do it all. Though, one thing that didn’t come as natural to her was a skincare routine. When asked by Popsugar in 2017 if her mom gave her beauty advice, Issa responded saying, “She tried, bless her heart. I was such a tomboy and did not want to hear it from her.”

And, while she has picked up some hair, skincare, and makeup skills since then, she’s never wanted to let her outward appearance be what defined her. When asked by InStyle how it felt to be the face of Covergirl, she said, “It’s funny—I don’t think of myself like that in terms of beauty standards.

How to be a “masked” beauty | Good Morning Arizona

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) — Have we gotten used to the masks yet? It doesn’t seem like they’ll will be going away anytime soon, and for some people the whole look has become quite the fashion statement. And, because of the masks, the focal point, no doubt, seems to be completely centered on, you guessed it, the eyes.

Masks are making a real impact on the beauty business. But, if facial coverings are here to stay, we might as well figure out how to make our eyes stand out, without spending a ton of money. So, let’s put our best face forward.

It wasn’t hard to find subjects who agreed.

“I definitely feel like most of the attention is on my eyes,” Erica Shipione tells us from a procedure room inside Arizona Facial Plastics. “It’s usually the only part of my face I put make up on anymore.”

Online Grocery Shopping Will Continue Post-COVID Says Data From Online Grocer Good Eggs

Yesterday Good Eggs announced the results of a nationwide grocery shopping survey conducted in August, 2020, amongst 2,598 consumers beyond their own customers and operating geography in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Results showed that two-thirds of people have bought groceries online, compared to only 13% of households surveyed one year ago (August 2019, by Brick Meets Click), representing a five-fold increase. The bigger news—and opportunity—is the 81% who say they’ll continue to do so post-COVID.

Seventy percent said the #1 benefit (aside from reducing COVID-19 risk) is time savings.  Fifty-one percent say it helps them reduce impulse purchases, and 42% say it makes it easy for them to reorder the same foods regularly.

When asked
