2021 Ford Bronco Overland concept digs into off-road accessories

Happy Wednesday off-road SUV fans, here’s a new 2021 Ford Bronco concept. The Blue Oval today showed off the Bronco Overland concept as a surprise to those attending the Bronco Super Celebration East taking place in Tennessee. While it doesn’t break any new ground, it does highlight the number of possibilities that accessories could provide future Bronco owners. And it looks badass.

At its core, it’s a four-door Bronco with the 2.3-liter, turbo-four engine and the highly anticipated seven-speed manual transmission with a dedicated crawl gear. Icing the boxy SUV is a slew of factory-backed accessories, such as the steel front bumper complete with a winch system. Nissan to Offer NISMO-Branded Off-Road Accessories

  • Nissan is offering NISMO-branded off-road accessories for the Frontier, Titan, and long-departed Xterra.

  • Upgraded Bilstein dampers, tough front bumpers, Rigid lights, and stronger wheels will be offered by NISMO.

  • Pricing will be announced closer to when the parts go on sale this fall.

It doesn’t take a paleontologist to tell us the Nissan Frontier is old. Our once taut skin has wrinkled and our hairs have turned gray as we have awaited the debut of the all-new model. Nissan may have fitted the next-generation powertrain into the 2020 Frontier, but its looks are essentially identical to those from the George W. Bush administration. Ahead of this year’s Rebelle Rally—an all-female adventure race—Nissan has unveiled NISMO-branded accessories to spice up the truck’s look and off-road capability.
