“Immune” & “Powerful” Trump Says He Wants To Kiss “Guys,” “Beautiful Women” At Rally

President Donald Trump is back on the campaign trail a mere 11 days after announcing that he tested positive for COVID-19. Eager to solidify support and downplay the threat of the coronavirus, Trump’s maskless machismo led him to Florida – a state that could make or break his reelection campaign – where he boldly announced that he was not only “immune” to the coronavirus but felt “powerful.”

Trump felt so powerful, in fact, that he threatened to kiss many of the people at his rally. “I’ll kiss everyone in that audience,” Trump said, his voice sounding slightly hoarse. “I’ll kiss the guys and the beautiful women. Just give you a big fat kiss.” Yikes!

Trump did not wear a mask to the rally, even when he wasn’t speaking. According to the New York Times, he didn’t wear one while boarding Air Force One before leaving

Megan Thee Stallion Speaks Up For Black Women in Powerful Essay: ‘We Deserve to Be Protected as Human Beings’

“We were not in a relationship. Truthfully, I was shocked that I ended up in that place. My initial silence about what happened was out of fear for myself and my friends. Even as a victim, I have been met with skepticism and judgment. The way people have publicly questioned and debated whether I played a role in my own violent assault proves that my fears about discussing what happened were, unfortunately, warranted.”

The rapper notes that in the weeks leading up to the Nov. 3 election Black women are “expected to once again deliver victory for Democratic candidates,” noting that Black women have gone from being unable to vote legally to being a “highly courted” voting bloc in just over a century. “Despite this and despite the way so many have embraced messages about racial justice this year, Black women are still constantly disrespected and disregarded in so many

Angelina Jolie shares powerful essay about the rights of women amid COVID-19

Actress and activist Angelina Jolie has written a powerful essay for TIME Magazine in response to United Nations concerns that “gains on gender equality risk being reversed by decades” due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on domestic violence and women in the workplace.

“The numbers paint a stark picture of a possible 2 million additional cases of female genital mutilation globally by 2030, 13 million additional child marriages, an additional 15 million women and girls subjected to gender-based violence for every 3 months of lockdown, and a further 47 million women forced into extreme poverty,” Jolie, a Special Envoy of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, wrote, calling the possibility of regression “intolerable.”

Jolie, who also spoke on a TIME panel about the topic, wrote that while the pandemic might have “inflamed” inequalities, the issues at hand existed long before COVID-19.

Megan Thee Stallion Performs ‘Savage,’ Says ‘Protect Our Black Women’ During Powerful SNL Debut

Megan Thee Stallion is using her hot-girl platform to slam racial injustices.

During the season 46 premiere of Saturday Night Live hosted by Chris Rock this weekend, the “WAP” rapper, 25, performed her hit remix “Savage” (featuring Beyoncé’s vocals) and shared a powerful message for the Black Lives Matter movement.

Toward the end of the first song, gunshot effects took shape on the set behind Megan and her four backup dancers, with soundbites from historical and recent activists heard in the background. One quote called out Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron for his decision made last month in the case of Breonna Taylor.

Megan Thee Stallion Delivers Powerful ‘Protect Black Women’ Statement on ‘Saturday Night Live’

Megan Thee Stallion did not squander her opportunities as the musical guest on “Saturday Night Live,” using the spot to make a direct statement about violence toward Black women.

During her performance of “Savage,” her hit single of last spring, the words “Protect Black Women” appeared on the screen behind her, along with quotes from Malcom X and activist Tamika Mallory calling out Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron over his handling of Breonna Taylor’s death at the hands of Louisville police.

As Megan and her dancers stood at attention in the middle of the song, Mallory’s voice rang out, with the quote “Daniel Cameron is no different than the sell-out negroes who sold our people into slavery” projected behind them. In the case, presented by Cameron’s office, no charges were levied against any of the involved officers that directly related to Taylor’s death.
