President Trump claimed himself cured of COVID-19 and said he is “immune” from the virus. Some medical professionals say there is no guarantee of that.

USA TODAY

WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump made a direct appeal to suburban women during a campaign rallyin the critical battleground of Pennsylvania Tuesday as he sought to use his Supreme Court nomination to reset the trajectory of the race.

“Do me a favor, suburban women, would you please like me?” Trump said in Johnstown, Pa., a Republican stronghold where Trump hopes to run up turnout in the Nov. 3 election. “I saved your damn neighborhood, okay?”

Trump started off almost immediately with criticism of Joe Biden, saying his Democratic opponent was “shot” and had “crushed” the

Washington president Jason Wright says Ozzie Newsome was one of his role models

In August the Washington Football team hired Jason Wright as their new team president. As soon as Wright accepted that position he became the first Black team president in NFL history. The pressure of calling the shots in one of the most dysfunctional organizations to date already has it’s challenges — doing so as a Black male opens the door to other pressures seen and unseen.

Recently, in an interview with NBC Sports Washington’s Brian Mitchell, Wright discussed how his transition into the new role, especially as a person of color, has gone. And how the Baltimore Ravens executive vice president, Ozzie Newsome has operated as a pivotal example for him.

“[Ozzie] Newsome has long been a role model of mine. I played most of my career with the Browns, so did Ozzie, so I always followed him,” Wright said. “Then, he was GM’ing our rival. He was extremely professional.”

Former vice president author of Violence Against Women Act

Many Floridians are wondering who the real Joe Biden beyond the public persona that we know well from his decades in public service. As a senior advisor to Vice President Biden in the White House from 2015-2017, I can answer that.

I was the White House Advisor on Violence Against Women, a position created under President Obama’s administration —and eliminated by President Trump’s. The fact that the post was created at Biden’s insistence is a testament to his commitment to addressing a less-visible pandemic that this nation has been dealing with for a long time, and that has intensified during the COVID-19 pandemic.

I went to work in the White House somewhat skeptical of the federal

‘Mr. Vice President, I’m speaking’: Women praise Kamala Harris’s response to Mike Pence’s debate interruptions

Minutes into the vice presidential debate on Wednesday night, as Senator Kamala Harris described her view of the Trump administration’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Vice President Mike Pence and debate moderator Susan Page began to interject.

“Mr. Vice President, I’m speaking. I’m speaking,” Harris turned to Pence and said.

Harris repeated the refrain later in the debate, while rebutting Pence’s claim that Joe Biden would try to raise taxes on Americans in response to a question on the economy posed by Page.

According to NBC News, which tracked the number of interruptions by each candidate during the debate, Pence interrupted Harris almost twice as many times as she interrupted him.

The phrase began trending on Twitter, with Harris’s use of the line sparking support from women who appeared to empathize with being interrupted by men at work.

It even played out during CNN’s post-debate broadcast, when, as political analyst

Sen. Kamala Harris sought to put a halt to Vice President Mike Pence’s talking over her during their Wednesday debate.

While Wednesday night’s vice-presidential debate was much more civil than last week’s interruption-intensive face-off between the presidential candidates, Vice President Mike Pence and Sen. Kamala Harris also talked over each other at times — and Joe Biden’s running mate wasn’t having it.

“Mr. Vice President, I am speaking.”

“If you don’t mind letting me finish, we can have a conversation.”

“He interrupted me, and I’d like to just finish, please.”

Harris’s repeated refusal to let Pence talk over her led to these quotes trending on Twitter on Wednesday night. And many tweets featured other women calling out how often they have experienced similar interruptions in their lives, particularly at work.

Bugatti could set revenue record in 2020, but will delay second model, company president says

Bugatti is still making bank.

The VW Group-owned hypercar maker could set a record year for revenue in 2020 despite the global economic slowdown caused by the coronavirus pandemic, but is still feeling its effects.

Bugatti president Stephan Winkelmann told Bloomberg that plans for a second model that would slot in below its $3 million Chiron hypercar have been put on hold.

“We had talks about a second-model lineup,” Winkelmann told the outlet. “This was now blocked due to the coronavirus crisis; we’re not talking about what’s coming next.”

This is the second time this year the VW Group-owned automaker has announced a development delay for the new vehicle, which a company source told Automotive News would be neither a sedan or SUV.

“We want to do something
