Michael Schumacher’s son, Mick, surprised Lewis Hamilton with a special gift after the Brit equaled the legendary F1 racer’s record of 91 Grand Prix victories Sunday.
Mercedes’ Hamilton went on par with Schumacher by winning the Eifel Grand Prix, which was also the reigning champion’s seventh win of the F1 2020 season.
At the post-race ceremony, in what turned out to be an emotional moment for Hamilton, the Brit driver was presented with one of Schumacher’s helmets by the German legend’s son Mick, who was a part of the Eifel race weekend because he was set to make his F1 debut before the Friday practice session was called off due to fog.
