Cottonwood police were asking the public to help track down two women they say spray-painted sidewalks with “BLM” and an expletive about President Donald Trump.

Two women were seen on surveillance footage from a business in Old Town Cottonwood spray-painting “(expletive) Trump” on a sidewalk near the corner of Main and Pinal streets on Sept. 23, said Cottonwood Police Department spokesperson Sgt. Monica Kuhlt. 

The acronym “BLM,” which stands for Black Lives Matter, was also spray-painted on other sidewalks and campaign signs in the area, according to Kuhlt. 

“It looks like one is the lookout while the other one spray-paints on the sidewalk,” Kuhlt said.

Screenshots from the footage showed two women who appeared to be walking on a sidewalk. No graffiti could be seen in the screenshots provided by police.
