Tesla (TSLA) slashes Model S price, now starts at just $71,990

Tesla (TSLA) has reduced the price of its flagship sedan, the Model S, today. The electric car now starts at just $71,990.

The Model S and Model X programs have been in declined for a while now.

Tesla delivered 15,200 units of both vehicles last quarter – down from 17,400 during the same period last year and down from 27,660 vehicles (14,470 Model S, and 13,190 Model X) back in Q3 2018.

During that time, Tesla has mainly focused on the cheaper Model 3 and Model Y vehicle programs.

Nevertheless, the automaker is still updating Model S and Model X regularly with new performance and features, most recently with a range increase to 402 miles for the Model S.

Inglewood native starts clothing line to represent hometown

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (KABC) — Hometown pride is something quite common in the Inglewood community and one Inglewood native and business owner Steve Cotton, wanted to come up with a brand that embodied his neighborhood.

“Nipsey Hussle started the Crenshaw/Slauson movement and it was just really booming at the time,” Cotton said. “So, we decided to do a brand that represented our city: Inglewood, City of Champions.”

Cotton received his business degree from Hampton University before moving back home. That’s when he started Inglewood Clothing line about three years ago.

announced that Target Deal Days are returning as a kickoff to the holiday shopping season—the same days that

com is running its Prime Day promotion.

On Tuesday, Target (ticker: TGT) said Target Deal Days would take place on Oct. 13 and 14, and feature digital deals “on hundreds of thousands of items, more than double last year.” Almost all the products will be available for curbside or in-store pickup, options that have seen huge growth during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The news comes a day after Amazon.com (AMZN) announced its Prime Day sale on those days. The annual promotion usually takes place during the summer, but was delayed because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
