Texas Teen Breaks 2 World Records with Her More Than 4-Foot-Long Legs: ‘Height Is a Gift’

A Texas teenager has been crowned a Guinness World Records holder — twice over — thanks to her long legs.

Maci Currin recently set two records as both the woman and the teenager with the longest legs in the world, according to a video posted on Tuesday by Guinness World Records.

Maci, 17, currently stands at 6 feet 10 inches tall, and has a left leg that measures in at 53.255 inches long, while her right leg is just a bit shorter at 52.874 inches long, Guinness reported.

“You don’t really fit into the category of ‘normal,'” Maci told Guinness of the benefits to having long legs. “You’re unique, you have something different, and people are drawn to it.”

Brooklyn teen opens beauty supply store amid pandemic to ‘inspire others’ : TheGrio

A Brooklyn teenager credits her mother for inspiring her entrepreneurial spirit to open a beauty supply store amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Paris McKenzie, a 16-year-old senior at the High School for Human Services and Health Professions, is making national headlines after launching the Paris Beauty Supplyz on Church Avenue in Flatbush last month, Fox Business reports.

“My mom really inspired me to open up the store,” McKenzie said on Making Money with Charles Payne. “She’s my biggest inspiration.”

McKenzie admits she was a little apprehensive to launch her own business at such a young age. “But, I knew I had the knowledge and I had the funds to do it so I said if this can inspire others, then it is something I should do,” she shared.

Teen Iga Swiatek to meet Australian Open champ Sofia Kenin in French Open final

PARIS — Iga Swiatek is just 19. She’s ranked 54th. She’s never won a tour-level title. She’d never been past the fourth round at a Grand Slam tournament. And she’s as dominant as can be so far at the French Open.

Poland’s Swiatek became the lowest-ranked women’s finalist at Roland Garros since the WTA computer rankings began in 1975, advancing with her latest lopsided win, this one 6-2, 6-1 against Argentine qualifier Nadia Podoroska on Thursday.

Swiatek has won all 12 sets she’s played in the tournament and has dropped merely 23 games through a half-dozen matches.

When this 70-minute tour de force ended before a crowd in the hundreds at Court Philippe Chatrier — there was a daily limit on spectators because of the coronavirus pandemic — Swiatek asked for more noise, waving her arms and cupping a hand to her ear.

Cookeville teen gets the gift of hearing after losing hearing aids in tornado

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The March 3rd tornado devastated neighborhoods and families from Donelson to Cookeville. Despite the losses, Middle Tennesseans have seen new beginnings since then.

A teenager with hearing loss was thrown from her house during the tornado and lost her hearing aids. Friday, she received a very special gift.

“It was just like at one minute I was in my bed, and the next, I was under the house,” said 16-year-old Ella Neal. An EF 4 tornado destroyed her home on Charlton Square in Central Putnam County.

Her neighbor found her under her house in his backyard. Neal was born with reverse- slope hearing loss and only able to pick-up on high pitches. “The only way that I knew that someone found me was like by the flashlights that were there, near the place that I was at,” Neal recalled.

Her hearing aids were among many things
